Hi, I’m Hanna Marie Olson. I’m an actor and teaching artist who’s most at home in a rehearsal room filled with curiosity and generous collaborators. I trained at the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Program, a text-based, classical acting program where I worked on everything from ancient Greek tragedy to brand new plays.

I love stories that ask resonant questions and performances that feel alive and a little unpredictable. I’ve performed Shakespeare, worked on contemporary pieces, helped develop new scripts, and wrote and performed my own solo show, See the Wolf—a personal reimagining of familiar myths.

Outside of performance, I also work with young people as a teaching artist. I believe in nurturing creativity early, often, and with a whole lot of joy. Whether I’m acting or teaching, I care about presence, play, and making space for people to feel seen.
